About Ages of Conflict
Ages of Conflict is a map painter. Nations grow, fight, and collapse on a world or custom map. You set the rules, then watch or nudge the war.
How To Play Ages of Conflict
Pick a map and speed
A huge map with max speed is a blur. Slow it down until you can see who is actually winning.
Nudge, do not micromanage
You are not commanding every unit. Change borders, spawn nations, or let the AI eat itself.
Watch supply of land
A thin empire looks big and dies the next war. Compact blobs last longer.
Gameplay Experience
Time-lapse wars
The fun is seeing a country vanish in 40 years, not clicking every tile.
Sandbox first
Most people start a random world, then start breaking it on purpose.
No hero unit
There is no chosen army. Terrain and neighbors do the work.
Gameplay Mechanics
Border growth
Nations expand into weaker neighbors. Mountains and water slow that.
Alliances and collapse
A big war can split a winner if it overextends.
God tools
You can spawn, delete, or force peace depending on the build.

Tips & Strategies
-
01
Start small
A few nations on a tight map teaches the rules faster than a full Earth.
-
02
Let one war finish
Pausing every year hides the collapse you wanted to see.
-
03
Use terrain
Water and mountains are better defenses than a long border.
-
04
Do not spawn 80 colors at once
You will not remember who is who.
